Use Positive Language To Persuade
Developing the Next Generation of Rainmakers Use Positive Language to Persuade Greetings from Fort Myers, FL where I am visiting the Henderson Franklin lawyers today thanks to one of the most enthusiastic marketing directors I have ever met- Gail Porter Larmache. Needless to say, I am looking forward to a great day. Oh, I should also add that it will be a great day because the Virginia Tech defense held the Georgia Tech offense scoreless for the last three quarters last night leading to a 23-21 victory. Enough about Florida and Virginia Tech football, letâs get to our topic today. Thinking about Gailâs positive, upbeat attitude, caused me to write about this topic. Look at some of your recent letters to clients. Did you end a letter with: âIf I can help further, please do not hesitate to call me.â I would be surprised if you get a call. In How to Connect in Business in 90 Seconds or Less Nicholas Boothman recommends you use positive language. I recommend the book to lawyers I coach. It is a quick read and well worth the time. In a CBS Early Show Interview, Boothman gives a specific example: Itâs no good saying to my daughter, âDonât mess up your room,â when I mean, âTidy your room.â If you say to a customer, âDonât hesitate to contact me,â they donât know what you mean. What you really mean is, âPhone me Friday,â or, âCall me if you need some help.ââ So, next time you write a letter consider ending your next letter with: âIf I can help further, please call me.â P.S. Are you a golfer? When you are on the tee with water in front of you, are you thinking you do not want to hit the ball in the water? If you are, you are more likely to hit the ball in the water than if you were focusing on where you actually do want to hit the ball. I practiced law for 37 years developing a national construction law practice representing some of the top highway and transportation construction contractors in the US.

I De-friended My Mom on Facebook
I De-friended My Mom on Facebook Facebook Rules for When Your Family is on Facebook Facebook Rules for When Your Family is on Facebook A couple weeks ago, a Facebook friend messaged me this question on Facebook: Is there or have you heard anything about where to find anything on Facebook etiquette for aging adults/grandparents/parents? My Mom has started FBing and has no boundaries. Iâm having a hard time explaining to her itâs not cool to comment on my friendâs-friendâs posts etc. and she is driving my kids crazy. Iâve looked on line about this stuff and canât even find anything. I laughed because I feel my friendâs pain. Social networking is new for everyone, both kids and adults. Take my own mom for example. My mom has been on Facebook for almost nine months. She started messaging my friends and posting comments on peopleâs pages unaware of keyword search or privacy settings. I talked to her. We argued. I talked to her again. I did what any frustrated daughter or son would do. I De-Friended My Mom on Facebook The largest growing segment on Facebook is the over 45 and over crowd. Thatâs our family on facebook; my mom, your mom, your grandmother and everyoneâs Aunt Betty. As late to adopters of social media, our older family members are overwhelmed by the ability to connect and learn about high school friends, family, and neighbors. Just like riding a bike, your family on Facebook is learning, growing, and testing their limits. On Facebook, everyone has a voice. Everyone has friends. Friends make us feel special. And friends want to hear our opinions, right? Itâs powerful. Itâs exciting. Sometime itâs too much. Teaching Facebook Rules to Family Members Without De-Friending Itâs called Netetiquetteand is defined as Internet and social media etiquette. Itâs what my mom and your mom on Facebook need to learn. .ai-rotate {position: relative;} .ai-rotate-hidden {visibility: hidden;} .ai-rotate-hidden-2 {position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%;} .ai-list-data, .ai-ip-data, .ai-fallback, .ai-list-block {visibility: hidden; position: absolute; width: 50%; height: 1px; z-index: -9999;} Basic Rules for Families on Facebook: Poke with caution. If you have been on Facebook for a while you remember when poking and super-poking was all the rage. Poking is a way to nudge the user into conversation or just to say, âHey.â Poking is not as popular as it once was before but poke with caution. Sometimes itâs awkard and just plain creepy. Keep your private life private. Your friends will learnâ"and secretly delight in readingâ"about your hookups and breakups. Updating your relationship status on a regular basis not only raises eyebrows but is in poor taste. When you update your relationship status to âdatingâ or âmarriedâ or to âin a relationshipâ everyone that is your friend is notified of this change through their Facebook stream and it is also included in your profile Wall updates.. Update your privacy settings frequently. These days it seems like Facebook updates their privacy setting weekly. Get to know your settings and the amount of access one has to your page and information. Create lists and control how much access work contacts have versus your close family or friends. Even simple tools like tagging can be monitored and controlled. Lighten up on the apps. These drive me crazy. I donât really want to know that you completed Level 7 on Bejeweled, Quiz Taco, or Smiles application. Posting too many of these applications and updates to your wall clogs up your friendâs stream and leads to rapid de-friending. T-M-I. Thereâs a fine line between sharing with your friends and sharing too much with your friends. I wonât make fun of you if you decide to join every Harry Potter group in creation. Just like in regular conversation, steer clear of controversial topics of sex, religion, and politics. And please refrain from private messaging or posting to someoneâs wall to publicly debate one of the three aforementioned topics. It can rub people the wrong way. Caution when commenting. Would you call a stranger on the phone? Refrain from commenting on friends of friends walls. It sometimes borders on creepy Facebook stalking especially when it comes to the kids. Your daughterâs friendâs third cousin doesnât really want you commenting on their prom picture. De-friending is harsh, but sometimes necessary. Take my word for it as someone whoâs been there. Itâs much easier just to change your privacy settings keeping that pesky person from posting on updates or your wall. With Facebook, people collect long-forgotten acquaintances by the hundreds; you may look petty if you remove someone from your friends list. Privacy settings really can be your best friend. Less drama and more control, and if youâre caught in the act, just blame it on Facebook. Theyâre always screwing up those pesky privacy settings anyway. After about two weeks of unfriending my mom the second time, I invited my mom to be my friend again on Facebook. She and I talked again about Facebook rules and etiquette. I think my mom now knows whatâs acceptable in this new and growing space, but it took a lot of phone calls, a couple Facebook tutorials and time.. I de-friended my mom on Facebook (twice), but weâre good now. I promise. Añadir a la guÃa de conversación No hay listas de palabras para Inglés - Español Crear una nueva lista de palabras Copiar

Appraisal vs. Resignation Whats Your Pick - Resume Writer For You
Appraisal vs. Resignation Whatâs Your Pick Admit it, we all have faced the situation where we have been pushed to our extents in the office. It could have arisen out of any cause â" ill-tempered boss, incompatible working environment, unsuitable work profile, lack of enjoyment in work, etc. But at times, you would have found yourself in a tricky situation where an appraisal may be in plans and at the same time, you might be considering putting in your resignation. How do you approach the infamous appraisal-resignation dilemma? What Appraisals Actually Mean You might be thinking that an appraisal could bring you benefits and this is not entirely incorrect. Sometimes you may be surprised with the incentives that are provided to you as part of your appraisal. But most of the times, the appraisal would earn you a meeting with the head honchos where your weaknesses and failures would be discussed and you would be compelled to move back to such an extent that you would not be able to bargain for even 10% hike. Another probability is that your promotion could be delayed on the basis of lack of leadership skills, inadequate technical expertise or a myriad of other reasons. And even if you manage to somehow prove your worth to them, there is a good chance that the incentives that would be provided to you after appraisal would not be that significant. What Resignations Actually Mean The moment your resignation reaches the concerned authorities, you would be called for a meeting to discuss the reasons that compelled you to resign from your position. Unlike an appraisal meeting, you would get to hear about your strengths and achievements and you would be made to feel like an important contributor for the organizationâs success. There is very little chance of the management allowing you to leave and they will try to coax you into retaining your employment. The first thing that they do is to give you the freedom to negotiate your salary and even if you ask for a 50% 60% hike, they would agree (in most cases). Moreover, there is an evident n90% chance of receiving a hike in your salary after you have put in your resignation. Does this Imply That You Should Resign For Getting Incentives? You need to understand when, where and how you should play your cards. If you repeatedly pull off this trick, then instead of being called to a meeting, you could end up with an approved resignation. You should know the implications of the resignation and in order to ensure the safety of your financial sources, you need to actually search a job or you should amass enough funds with which you could last a few months in the dire situation where you not able to find employment immediately. Resignation should always be the last resolution and not the initial approach. Moreover, do not compromise with anything when negotiating things during a resignation meeting. If things are not working out in your favour, then it is best to leave the organization rather than being grumpy about it and affecting the working environment altogether. In any situation, you should always have your resume / CV with you and make sure you keep it updated as per the latest trends and industry requirements. There are various cv writing services in India and you even have some really good online CV makers where you can get your CV create by industry experts. This helps to increase your chances of securing a good job. So think a lot before putting in your resignation, but once you have made up your mind, then do not compromise your requirements for anything. Appraisal Tips

Basic Rules For Writing an Application Letter to Complement Your Rsum CBA
Basic Rules For Writing an Application Letter to Complement Your Rsum CBAWhen you're writing an application letter to accompany your resume CBA, you have to come up with the right way to make it look like you've read the Roster of Candidate Questionnaire. As a matter of fact, you should do it in such a way that you'll also appear professional. This is because most people will use this initial stage as a test to see if you have what it takes to win the contract. They don't really care about the other documents you have to write at this point. It's a good idea to follow these basic rules when you're writing an application letter to accompany your resume CBA.This is the first step you have to take before you can ever make it look professional. When you're writing an application letter to accompany your resume CBA, you must make sure you put your name and the company's name in the order of their importance.Keep in mind that your name is what you use in the document while the company's nam e is what you use for the document header. The header has to be formatted as follows: company name - name of applicant. The company name must start with an 'S' and the name of the applicant must be capitalized. One word of caution: This is the best way to show that you've read the entire document because you'll be able to notice the spelling mistakes that the other applicants made. Even if you've done that, it's still best to keep it in mind. When you're writing an application letter to accompany your resume CBA, the only thing you need to focus on are the proper headers and the titles that you have to add. The rest should be a blur and not worthy of a second thought. When you're writing an application letter to accompany your resume CBA, you also have to work hard on using capital letters in the right places. This is not the place to spell the applicant's name. You're going to have to get the right accents in order to make sure that the applicant looks professional. When you're workin g on the application letter, you have to consider using different fonts. You can use the same fonts as you used when you were drafting the resume and then you have to use the very fancy ones that the applicants are using. This is the only way to make sure that the impression you'll give the reader is the right one.If you remember these simple rules, you can make the most out of your application letter to accompany your resume CBA. Just think of the great impression you'll be giving the reader. The first impression counts, so you should really make it count.

How to Answer the Interview Question What are Your Weaknesses and Strengths in a positive way - Freesumes
How to Answer the Interview Question âWhat are Your Weaknesses and Strengthsâ in a positive way How to Answer the Interview Question âWhat are Your Weaknesses and Strengthsâ in a positive way While you can never be 100% certain what questions you are going to get in a job interview, there is one question that seems to occur in the vast majority of them â" it is a question about your strengthens and weaknesses. And for many of us, this is by far one of the hardest questions to answer. After all, you donât want to talk negatively about yourself or give away your weaknesses that could potentially mean talking yourself out of a job. And you want to give your strengths in a positive and encouraging way without coming across as boastful or arrogant. So what are the best ways to answer this kind of interview question? Why ask these questions?Strength and weakness questions have been around for a long time and many people wonder why employers continue to ask them. After all, you are less likely to tell the truth about your weaknesses and more likely to slightly overstate your strengths when pinned down about them in an interview. But often, employers arenât so much looking at the actual answers but more what you give away during the answer â" and how you approach it.Consider the question from the job perspectiveTo prepare for these types of questions, it is important to consider yourself in the light of the job you are applying for. This means you should focus on the strengths that will be the most appealing for the role you are applying. Examples could include:The role is a team one where you will be working with five other people every day â" therefore your answer could be along the lines of âI thrive in a team environment, working closely with others and contributing to a group effort.âThe role involves a lot of time spent talking to customers and colleagues on the phone and via email so your answer could be something like âI am a skilled communicator able to articulate ideas from paper as well as to confidently give my opinions in written form while remaining personable and friendly.âTurn a negative into a positiveThere are different schools of thought about this idea but it might work for you, depending on the situation. While admitting a weakness, you also show how this could be a positive for the business. One example might be to look at your workaholic tendencies â" âI tend to get very involved in my work and it can take over my life but I pride myself on getting the job done to the highest standard and within all deadlines.âOr you could highlight that you arenât the most organised person â" âIâm not a naturally organised person so I use a system called X to ensure that I manage myself and never miss a task that I have to do.âOvercoming the weaknessA similar idea is to discuss your weaknesses and then detail how you have overcome them in the past or what you would do going forward to achieve this. This shows that you know yourself and understand what you need to do to overcome your own characteristics. For example:I tend to get too involve with projects I am passionate a bout and not so much to ones that arenât as appealing but I have learned to balance this and put the same effort into all the projects that I work onWhile I am a little obsessive about my part of a project or my role, I have come to understand that I play just one part in the big picture and that I need to act accordinglyManaging questions about your strengthsTalking about your strengths may seem easier than talking about your weaknesses and it is easy to focus on former and downplay the latter but interviewers will see through this. Instead, look to offer your strengths in relation to the role you are applying for so beforehand, write a list of skills and strengths that you have that match up with the job description. So for example, if the job involves working to deadlines you could say something like âI donât like to just meet deadlines but complete projects ahead of schedule and even earned a bonus in my last job for completing X project X time ahead of scheduleâW hile not wanting to exaggerate, an interview isnât the time to be humble. Make sure what you say is fact based (so as above, make sure you did get that bonus or other reward) and highlight the most important strengths in relation to the role you are applying for.ConclusionStrength and weakness questions are often the hardest to answer confidently. If asked as a single question, start with your weaknesses and finish with your strengths to end on a positive note. Show how you have dealt with your weaknesses and how your strengths can benefit the employer. previous article

Have each collaboration together to modify the riddle (a little one, obviously). A short time later, clarify how significant correspondence is for the achievement of the group, just how it was to manufacture the riddle. Colleagues can likewise talk about how they imparted and why during the movement to guarantee a functioning conversation. Indicating as opposed to telling removes the exhausting from tuning in. You can even put a subject on your week after week gatherings to liven up the participants. Why not have Taco Tuesdays or French fry Fridays? Or on the other hand you can change the food type each gathering. Multi week can be Italian, the following Greek, the following American, etc. Food consistently gets the group. Offer the Power The supervisor generally runs the gathering, all things considered, that is something the individual is paid to do. Take a stab at sharing the force during gatherings. Possibly one gathering out of every month an alternate colleague has the duty of running the gathering. Laborers can send the representative things to put on the motivation and the person will have full range to manage everything. This can draw in your colleagues and assist them with feeling like one unit with equivalent parts. Obviously, toward the day's end you are the chief, yet sharing a little force from time to time can assist laborers with feeling trustworthy and significant while all the while esteeming your job as an administrator. Mobile Houses Perfect For Passionate Travelers
Mobile Houses Perfect For Passionate Travelers Mobile houses are a big trend right now. More and more people crave for the old-school travelling experience. Around 20 million people live in mobile houses, and this only in the USA. And if in the past unemployed people chose this option, now, 60% of them have a great job, and 20% are retired. Mobile houses are perfect for the ones who want to see the world without leaving their house behind. Mobile living is something people have started to love. Why? Because it offers the opportunity to feel like home whatever your destination is. The numbers show that 25% of the residents are between 18 and 30, so millennials consider these houses a great alternative to traditional living. 22% of mobile-home owners are baby boomers. Surprisingly right? It looks like our parents have chosen a more practical option for their retirement. But whatâs the fuss with mobile houses? Why people choose them? You can ultra-customise it Mobile houses are no longer boxes. No matter the print you choose, you can customise it to fit your needs. Some constructors even offer the possibility to choose from multiple qualities of materials. If you prefer traditional buildings, then you should choose sustained hardwood to build the exterior walls. You decide the wall colour, wall panels, design style, bathroom features and carpets. And if you had the misconception you can pick from a restricted number of floorplans, itâs the moment to find out that each builder provides thousands of models. You can ultra-customise your house. If you have no idea what print or materials to choose, your builder will probably have a portfolio of houses they built, you can inspire from. You donât have to pay for an engineering fee when you choose a print they constructed before. If you build a traditional house, for every modification you make you need to obtain re-engineering permits. This is why conventional houses are more expensive than mobile ones. When collaborating with a professional mobile house builder, they have in their warehouse all the materials they need to construct the house. This means that if you change your mind and you want another countertop for the kitchen, they can present you with a wide range of options. Mobile homes are highly customisable, and all builders ensure they deliver the exact home the buyer wants. You can travel together with your children When having children, you avoid travelling because you are afraid that the accommodation services you hire arenât safe for your little ones. You often heard parents complaining that their children cannot join them on trips because most of the hotels donât provide an extra bed for children, or their bathrooms arenât equipped for a toddler. If you like to explore outdoors, you may find difficult to take your children because they get tired easily when walking long distances and they have troubles sleeping in a tent. But a mobile house would be the perfect solution to these problems. These constructions are built inside, and this means they are safer for children than conventional houses. Quality-control is one of the main aspects, builders have in mind when constructing a mobile house. On-site projects are subject to weather, and this means that water can infiltrate walls and facilitate mould growth. Your constructor will build the house in a climate-controlled factory, so ravages of weather cannot touch it. Your house is safe for your baby since day one because no water, sun or mould would damage it. Black mould is something all parents are afraid of because it causes numerous health conditions. Black mould often affects hotels, so itâs safer to travel with your mobile house to protect your children from inhaling the fungus. Because your house is mobile you can travel to destinations you never thought youâll explore while children are young. You can save cash When building a mobile house, you not only that save time because the constructor completes the project faster, but you also save money because it doesnât cost as much as a conventional construction. Itâs more affordable to build a mobile house. Manufacturers buy materials in bulk, so they sell them cheaper than if you would buy them from the local store. They ensemble the entire house at their factory, and then transport it to your location. Because all the services are concentrated in the same place, you donât have to hire multiple specialists. The scale at which they are constructed and the predictable demand for cheap residencies make manufacturers build at competitive prices. Even if they use the same materials to build a mobile or traditional house, the cost of manufactured buildings is 30% lower. When living in an area like Florida you may worry that youâll have to pay pricey insurance for a mobile house because you live in a location prone to aggressive weather. This isnât the case, especially if you install smart home safety devices. The best way to find out how much the insurance costs, is to get a quote from a company that offers Florida manufactured home insurance. Youâll have no issues paying the cost of the premium because a mobile house comes with lower property taxes and energy bills. After paying for the insurance youâll still save enough to travel. You get the best of both worlds Choosing a mobile home over a conventional one saves you from noisy neighbours, crazy landlords, and building managers who bother you regularly. You can install your house in a park and get access to a small yard. You donât have to respect thousands of rules apartment buildings impose for their residents. If you are a pet owner, youâll have no issues bringing them inside because youâre the owner of the house. And where do you count that you can travel with your furred-friend? If your job requires relocation, you donât have to worry about selling your house and buying another one. You simply move it to another park. Mobile houses are perfect for freelancers because they can travel the world while working from home. Are you ready to try another lifestyle?

4 Essentials of the Modern Recruiter Tech Stack
4 Essentials of the Modern Recruiter Tech Stack Technology moves fast and as a recruiter, you cannot be exempt from developments and must, in fact, be a leader. This article outlines some of the technology which has recently come into play within recruiting, and itâs your time to get involved to stay relevant. 1. Mobile Unless youâve found yourself under a rock for the last few years, you know the web is going mobile. More people than ever are viewing their content via mobile and apps have become a 21st century necessity. As a successful recruiter, you aim to reach the best candidates available, and understanding their behaviour is crucial for this. Making your website, job board, or resource centre optimised for mobile is absolutely crucial. It will improve potential candidatesâ user experience, increasing your chances of gaining a lead or application, and improving your brand authority. More recruiters are using apps to provide users with an easier way to access job opportunities. From niche recruiters such as Mason Frank International, to large platforms like Smart Recruiters, apps are a seemingly worthy investment. Moreover, technology such as Rake can compile applications for from a variety of sites and help candidates collate their vacancies in one place. You can expect more mobile recruitment development and as industry grows. It could give more control to the candidate, giving access to more jobs and making prospects more selective. 2. Video Using video in the hiring process could save time, distance, and creates opportunity for more decision makers to see the candidate. Video CVâs arenât new to the world of recruitment, but over the next few years we can expect to see an increase in their use. With globalisation, teamed with a personality driven world, itâs clear why we can expect to see this more widely used. Itâs a worthy recruitment technique, particularly because it tests another set of skills within the candidate. Video CVs can give people the opportunity to be creative and helps those candidates who can to stand out. 3. Automation Automation has been used within sales and marketing for some time. Finally, weâre beginning to see it being used in recruitment. The customer journey can now be applied to the candidate journey and so much software is available to affect the process. The greatest benefit of automation is speeding up communication and, therefore, increasing efficiency. Most CRM systems today either have some form of automation built-in, or can be hooked up to an external software. Even if your current data is being stored in the most basic way, itâs possible to at least automate emails which warm up leads, or follow-up successfully placed candidates Itâs possible to extend automation further with platforms such as Sitecore. It makes it possible to collect data from website visitors before theyâre even candidates, and enrol them in a predetermined journey that you could result in creating a lead or beginning a marketing initiative. Furthermore, personalisation is now being used through software which can alter content based on conditions that youâve determined. 4. Social media 2.0 If you are recruiting in 2017, youâre already using social media in some form. LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook are now part and parcel of recruiting. Itâs important to start utilising your existing networks for more than sharing job ads, but also having conversations that reinforce your reputation as a thought leader. Social media is your opportunity to show the world that youâre an expert in recruiting and you understand the industries youâre recruiting for, in turn, introducing clients. Tap into communities and share knowledge with the right people and you could see a whole new ROI from social media. Be aware of emerging social media platforms and gain dominance within them as they grow. Just one example of an emerging network is beBee, which dubs itself as LinkedIn for people you donât know and a networking tool to reach people in your industry. As tech grows, so will the platforms through which we communicate. Make sure you stay in the know. Recruitment technology recommendations Audit your mobile capabilities If youâre not already using video, trial it. Use it internally, or involve your client in the shortlisting process, potentially improving relationships and retention. Investigate how you can automate and personalise any of your workflows and processes, or explore any potential platforms/software that would fit into your organisation Stay aware of social media developments to ensure you are communicating most effectively About the author: Maria Baranowska works in IT recruitment and has a background in responsible marketing and digital media. Key Tips On Writing Your Resume Objective Statement
Key Tips On Writing Your Resume Objective StatementA resume objective statement is a simple but very effective way to introduce your professional potential. The key here is to strike a balance between personal and professional and to remember that your statement must be both precise and descriptive. For a proper introduction, your resume objective should highlight one or more of the following areas:Firstly, this statement should begin by highlighting your current skill level. This will help to convey to the reader the fact that you are already qualified for the position and they are therefore more likely to believe you when you say that you're ready to take it on. If you haven't yet earned a degree or an advanced qualification you can use your past work experience as a jumping off point, but if you have any degree or advanced qualification it's best to highlight it in the first sentence. In your resume objective you should list all of your personal details in one place so that your pr ospective employer can quickly see exactly what you can do for them. This can include your name, your present contact details, your education history, your job history and even your references. Your personal details should be as detailed as possible. That way, it's easy for your prospective employer to evaluate your professional potential and determine whether or not you are the right person for the job. After this first part of your statement, it's best to use a short but descriptive summary paragraph to summarize what you've listed above. It's important to use specific terms and wording so that the reader gets a clear understanding of what your qualifications are and what you're able to offer them.Once your summary paragraph is finished, you can add another section to the resume, which is referred to as a 'motivation section'. It's important to highlight your motivation for taking the job. This can include such things as the opportunity to become a leader or the chance to grow and change the career path you're currently on.You should then finish your resume objective statement with an outline of the actual job requirements. This can include such things as salary requirements, job description and the like.Following the resume objective, you should close your resume objective by explaining what you expect from the prospective employer. This usually includes putting emphasis on the company or organization you want to work for. It should also include the skills and traits you need to have in order to be successful and how you intend to achieve this.In summary, your resume objective should be brief, informative and simple. Don't forget to put emphasis on your motivation and to tell the reader what they need to know about you in order to make a decision on whether or not you are a good fit for the job.

What Are You Reading
What Are You Reading Yesterday I received a package in the mail from my friends at Amazon! I have been waiting for this box for a week and it finally arrived. Like a child on Christmas morning, I tore open the packaging and found inside my books! Literally, I was jumping up and down. (My family looked at me with confusion and disbelief). This week I also received my magazine subscriptions. Now, my bedside table is stacked with material and I couldnt decide what I was going to read first. Which will have the biggest impact? Which will I enjoy most? Which will I be able to get through fastest? I started with Linchpin by Seth Godin. 5 pages in, before I could no longer keep my eyes open, I can already say that this is a MUST READ for everyone. It should be required reading by college students, employed, unemployed, everyone! What Godin is explaining is how our world is different today and what this means about how we view and perform the world we work in. It is empowering. It so nicely captures the big picture view of reality as we know it today. Each of us needs to understand how we can contribute and make a difference. The rules are changing, so must we. The other material I am looking forward to getting to: Trust Agents by Chris Brogan Drive by Daniel Pink The Week Body + Soul now WholeLiving House Beautiful So what is on your bedside table? What are you reading?
